Laws of the State of Texas.
the Governor of the State. They shall also employ a competent
surveyor to run off the boundary line of said county.
Sec. 4. It shall be the duty of the Governor, as soon as
he shall be notified by said commissioners of the performance
of the duties aforesaid, to order an election of all county
officers, elective under the Constitution of the State, for
said county. Said election to be holden at such place or
places as the Governor may designate, and shall be governed
in all respects by such laws in regard to elections, as may
be in force at the time of holding the same.
Sec. 5. Any one of said commissioners are empowered
to administer the oath of office to the officers elected under
this act, and said officers shall hold office until the next general
election for county officers, and until their successors
are qualified.
Sec. 6. Until said Officers are elected and qualified, all
the territory in said county shall belong for all purposes to
those counties from which the same is taken.
Sec. 7. This act shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.

of the State to hold a Special Term of the District Court
in and for the County of Anderson, in said Tenth District.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the
