Mfawa."—John lflJ-Z. ^
Seeing Jesus walking, John, standing
with two of his disciples, said: “Be-
hold the Lamb of God,” and the dis-
ciples heard him speak, and they fol-
lowed Jesus.—John 1:35-37.
Jesus turned and saw them following
Him and asked, “What seek ye?”
They answered, “Master, where dwell-
est Thou?” He answered: “Come and
see.”—John 1:38-39.
One of the two who followed John
was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.
He said "We have found the Messiah.”
—John 1:40-42.

New Year’s ‘Resolutions’, NO!
review! °nC aft<>r another bad habits or ,raits of character are brought Into
Without a doubt we all know we can and should do better and be better;
this fact will stand unchallenged.
But is this age-old custom of ’New Year's Resolutions’ the answer? Has
it ever really helped? How many of us have truly kept our ‘resolutions’ for any
length of time? Have we been any the better for making resolutions and then
breaking them?
I love to think of the way Christ Jesus tells us. His way is so simple and
uncomplicated. It can be summed up as simply as this: “Live one day at a
time — with God. your heavenly Father”.
A year is a LONG TIME! After the first few days of a ‘New Year’s Resolu-
tion’ we begin to look far, far ahead — and our wills begin to weaken!
But Jesus says each day gives a new beginning! Ask the Father’s help as
the dawn breaks — ask His guidance for the day — listen to His Voice. And
when the day is done, thank Him for His help and ask forgiveness for the mis-
takes. THEN. LEAVE THE DAY WITH HIM! In the morning He will have a
fresh new day for you!
Jesus says, “Take therefore no thought for (he morrow; for the morrow
shall take thought for things of itself." (Matt. 6:34)
Let us. therefore, live but one day at a time. And "seek . . . first the king-
dom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
(Matt. 6:33)
Sincerely yours, in our Master’s Service.
