What Is
INSULIN
^W''.*jwrarrss3
Insulin i* a substance prouucrd
In the body b\ the pancreas.
Insulin helps turn the sugar a
person eat* into heat and cn-
erg\. Failure on the part of the
ImxIv to make enough insulin is
one of the many causes of dia-
betes. When that is tlv case,
the diabetic must obtain addi-
tional supplies of insulin by In-
jection in the amounts and fre-
quency s|*ecified by the doctor.
An important part of our health
serv ice is to maintain fresh
supplies of insulin whch we
keep under refrigeration at the
correct temperature to assure
lull effeettlveness. We are al
wav* preiiared to serve fully
the diabetic's specified needs.

(\snkutrd hy King Fr»iur*s $r»Ji •»«. Ini
Christ told His followers to behold the
fowls of the air. They do not sow, reap
nor store food, but they are fed. "Are
ye not better than they?"
Pointing to the wild lilies of Palestine,
Christ said they do not toil nor spin;
yet King Solomon, in all his glory, was
not arrayed as beautifully as they.
"Seek ye first the kingdom of God.”
Do not worry about tomorrow for to-
morrow will care for itself. "Sufficient
upto the day is the evil thereof."
The man of God may tell the follower of
Christ from the unbeliever, for the first
will listen to teaching. The other will not.

■■OUR BOOSTER ROCKETS fall away from a guided missile propelled
Iby a ram-jet engine. It was developed by Britain for use in to-
morrow's auiiners. The boosters drop off after accelerating the
engine to a speed of over 1,000 miles an hour. Shock waves can be
seen ahead of the rockets ar.d on both sides of Ihe missile. The engine
is most effective at about 1,500 miles an hour. A new speed record
by an aircraft (bottom) that starts out as a helicopter and converts
itself into an airplane in midair was announced by the Air Research
and Development Command headquarters in Baltimore, Md. The
craft reached speeds of 200 miles an hour, exceeding the old heli-
copter figure by 40 miles an hour. It was first flight-tested in 1955.
