The baseball league at Wind-
thorst elected officers for the
coming season at a meeting last
week. James Berend is the new
president; George Veitenheimer
is the secretary-treasurer. Di-
rectors will be Rufus Moore. El-
mer Schroeder, Marvin Hoff,
James Wolf and Larry Meurer.
It has been decided that there
will be no midget teams from
Windthorst in the Archer Coun-
ty boys’ baseball league this
year.

the Air Force Reserves, not on

Wichita Falls area. He urges
students who are interested in
the Academv to get in touch

ures and entance examinations.

State Seeks
Cadet Wardens
The Parks and Wildlife Depart-
ment needs 50 Cadet Wardens—
If you like the great out of doors
you just might be the man to
fill one of these vacancies.
The Cadet Warden will spend
his first three months patrol-
ing the lakes, rivers, and streams
on boating and water safety pa-
trols.
In September, those selected
Cadet Wardens will attend Game
Warden Training School at Texas
A&M University and afterwards
be commissioned a Game War-
den.
Of course, you will be paid
while in school. If you want to
work in the great out of doors,
