5777, in the District Court of
Archer County, Texas, where-
in The State of Texas, County
of Archer and City of Archer
City were Plaintiffs, recover-
ed judgment against Mrs.
Claude Rogers, Defendant, for
taxes, penalty, interest, and
cost against the hereinafter
described property;
WHEREAS, on the 7th day
of April, 1969, by virtue of
said judgment and the man-
dates thereof the Clerk of the
above mentioned District Court
of said county did cause to
be issued an Order of Sale
commanding me as Sheriff of
said county to seize, levy up-
on, and sell in the manner
and form as required by law
the hereinafter described pro-
perty;
WHEREAS, by virtue of said
judgment and said Order of
Sale and the mandates there-
of I did on the 7th day of
April, 1969, seize and levy
upon as the property of the
above defendant the following
described property, situated In
Archer County, Texas to-wil:
(Said description showing the
number of acres, original sur-
vey, locality in county, and
name by which said property
is most generally known.)
FIRST TRACT: Lot 18 in
Block 102 of the City of Ar-
cher City, Archer County,
Texas.
And I will on the first Tues-
day in the month of June, 1969,
the same being the 3rd day
of said month, proceed to sell
all the right, title, and inter-
est of the Defendant in and to
said property at the Court
House door of said county in
the city or town of Archer
City between the hours of 10;(K>
a.m. and 4;00 p.m. to the high-
est bidder for cash, provided,
however, that none of said pro-
perty shall be sold to the own-
er of said property directly
or indirectly or to anyone hav-
ing an interest therein or to
any party other than a taxing
unit which is a party to this
suit for less than the amount
of the adjudged value of said
property or the aggregate 3-
mount of judgments against
said property in said suit,
whichever is the lower, sub-
ject also to the right of the
Defendant to redeem same in
the time and manner provided
by law and subject also to the
right of the Defendant to have
said property divided and sold
in less divisions than the
whole.
