Parks and Wildlife Department
that a public hearing will be
held at 8 P.M. on June 3,
1969 at the County Court House
at Archer City, Texas for the
purpose of gathering informa-
tion concerning proposed hunt-
ing, fishing and trapping regula-
tions for the above-named coun-
ty.
As the result of action by
the Texas Legislature, the Tex-
as Parks and Wildlife Com-
mission is responsible for the
setting of seasons, bag limits,
and means and methods of tak-
ing the Wildlife resources in
Archer County. All interested
persons are urged to attend
and comment upon the proposed

ORDINANCE NO. 140
An ordinance declaring the
existence of abandoned vehic-
les, refrigerators, deep freeze
boxes, wash machines, heating
and cooking stoves, air con-
ditioners, and all similar ap-
pliances, and/or the existence
of weeds, rubbish and any and
all objectionable, unsightly or
unsanitary matter of whatever
nature, or any dangerous build-
ing, awning, shed, or fence,
or other erections and struc-
tures which are liable to fall
down, and endanger persons
or property, or as a fire haz-
ard, which is situated upon any
lot or parcel of real estate
in the corporate limits of the
City of Archer City, a nuis-
ance; providing for notice to
owners of such property that
if said owners refuse to abate
such nuisance within ten (10)
days after date of notice that
the City of Archer City shall
abate such nuisance and shall
levy the reasonable cost of such
work against said owners; and
providing that said levy to be-
come a lien on said property
superior to all others except
tax liens, and liens for street
improvements, said lien bear-
ing interest at the rate of ten
(10%) percent per annum; de-
claring any violation of such
ordinance to be a misdemeanor,
and providing for penalty upon
conviction for violation of said
ordinance in the sum not to
exceed $200.00; repealing any
and all ordinances in conflict
herewith, and declaring an em-
ergency.

day of May, A.D., 1969.

Council of the City of Holliday,
Texas:
An ordinance prohibiting
the keeping of livestock,
cows, or cattle, horses,
mules, hogs, swine, sheep,
goats and or other such
animals within the corpor-
ate limits of the City of
Holliday: Declaring such
captivity and keeping of
such animals upon com-
plaint by three or more
citizens of Holliday, Tex-
as, as a public nuisance
and health hazard, provid-
ing for exceptions to said
regulation; making the vio-
lation of said ordinance
a misdemeanor, and fix-
ing the penalty for viola-
tion in sum not to exceed
$200.00, repealing all or-
dinance In conflict here-
with, and declaring an
emergency.

The Archer City Volunteers,
a group of women who host
a once-a-month party for Wards
E and F at the Wichita Falls
State Hospital, have set Thurs-
day, May 22, as the date for
the May party. The fourth
Thursday of each month has
been chosen for the enter-
tainment.
