Canning Survey
In Rotan Area
COPR. 1s*2 BY NEA SERVICE. INC. T. M. REG. U. S. P*'
ROTAN — (Spl.) — The gov-
ernment has asked that a count
be made of all the canning
g equipment on hand in the coun-
ty. The letters on this survey
xvere sent to a large number
of families in the county last
week by the county home dem-
onstration agent, if you receive
g a letter on the “Check Up’’ on
Pressure cookers, please do not
put it aside but mail it, in to
the office immediately. This
survey is also important if you
do not have a pressure cooker
# as it win assist the manufac-
tures of jars to know how many
will l»e needed b.y the civilian
population in this county. The
question on tlie number of
cans needed is for the purpose
■ of obtaining a count on how
many cans are needed in the
county for canning and will see
if the cans may tie obtained. If
cans are not available the same
number of jars will be ordered
■ instead.
