Locals recently attended
the annual meeting of the
Windthorst Federal Credit
Union in the Wiadthoist
Parish Hall. Prizes were
awarded and a gift for each
family was given. Refresh-
ments were also served.

13 at St. Boniface Catholic
Church with the Rev. Cletus
Post officiating. The God-
parents were Mr. and Mrs.
Robert Essler of Arlington.
A dinner was hosted by the
baby’s parents, Mr. and
Mrs. George Essler. Also
present were Mrs. Carl
Klein, grandmother and her
daughter Edna, a niece and
nephew, Ginger and Chris
Klein, all of Henrietta, Mrs.
Bryant Whitaker of Bowie,
and Mrs. Lydia Keys of
Wichita Falls.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Schlabs
visited Mr. and Mrs. John
Simons and Sister Teresa
Schlabs, who is on leave
until March 20, and will
return to the convent where
she will once again undergo
major knee surgery on April
6. From there the Schlabs
went to see the Pushmobile
Derby held at Wichita Falls.
Their twin grandsons Chris
and Craig Schlabs, twin sons
of Mr. and Mrs. David
Schlabs of Wichita Falls had
the honor of pushing
Glen Shelton, columnist, in
a Pushmobile. Afterwards
they came and visited in
their grandparents home.
Their father, David Schlabs,
is on a business trip in
Cincinatti.
Mrs. B.A. Gibson of
Houston is visiting in the
home of her daughter and ‘
son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Marvin Geis and family for 2
weeks.
