HOW ESTATE BANK WINS
It was a great night for
hankers last Saturday night
in the Howe Little League
Volleyball Tournament as Pi-
lot Point National Bank aad
Howe State Bank placed first
liens against the champion-
ship trophies. Pilot Point
came from behind, to gamer
a victory over City Machine
Shop in claiming the women’s
division title.
In the men’s division Howe
State Bank defeated the Mix-
ups for first place. Charles
Winfield led the Bank offense
and he received able assist-
ance from Freddy Holcomb
and the Fagala brothers.
Doug Wortham turned in a
fine defensive effort for the
bank. Orvey Cantrell and
Tommy Joe Gailey led the
Mixup defense.
The Rockettes from Collin-
sville won the women’s con-
solation title.

tournament was about two
hundred dollars.

The Howe Parent-Teacher
Association will meet Thurs-
day, May 14th, at 7:30 p.m.
It will be a Family Fun Night
with Moms and Dads putting
on the program. On the pro-
gram also will be the High
School Choral Club under the
direction of Mrs. Frances
Long. Officers for next year
will be installed. A social hour
will follow.

a Mother’s Day bake sale
Saturday morning, beginning
at nine o’clock at the Thorn
