Beginning last Sunday there was
organised in»the basement of *he
Methodist church a Junior Metho-
dist Church. This ^service 'begins
with the Senior Church service at
10:50 a. m. and concludes about
11:40.. It is for all children under:
12 years of age and is a service
similar to the adult service up-
stairs. It Is in charge of.Mrs. Mac-
une, who has had a number of
years experience in this work, arid
dt will' ibe a very interesting ser-
vice for the children. With the
Junior Church service .there is no'
reason why any children should go
hQtne after Sunday School. The
children will quickly become en-
thusiastic over this service if the
parents will< urge them to stay'a
few times and see it.
The young people of the church
are now; enjoying a social hour
each Sunday aftefnoon beginning
at 5:30. Light refreshments are
served and a good time provided
for ail. The worship program fol-
lows ai 6:15. This is done to help
provide a social life for the young
people under the proper influenc-
es. Further announcements con-
eqrning this will he made next
Sunday.
