'The Woman’s Missionary society of the
Union Baptist church met Monday af-
ternoon with ten present and put in a
^uilt. They also took a sunshine basket
to Grandpa Thompson, who is ill, and
the Thompsons served refreshments to
teie visitors. Devotional was also held.

Mrs John Guynes has made several
trips during the past week to Mesquite
to be with her father, C C Bufkin, who
was taken ill while visiting in the G T
Hennessee home. He lives in Dallas,
but as yet has not been able to return
to his home.
Mrs. Lee Graviey and children of Ar-
gyle spent Thursday night and Friday
in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
Graviey. She will continue living in Ar-
g'le while Lee is in the navy. He left
April 7th.
Mrs Ernest Hollis of Dallas spent Mon-
day and Tuesday in Carrollton visiting
relatives and friends.
