Feathers 8240
Hello! Just wanted to remind you I need a lot of
feather-making materials in my feed now. I have to
make about 8,000 new feathers before I start my
winter laying—and I want to get through my molt
quickly, so I can lay lots of eggs when prices are high.
You say Purina Chicken Chowder is full of that
protein stuff that makes feathers and eggs? That**
what I need. Send some right out.

Weak
Nervous
“I was weak and nervous
and run-down,” writes Mrs.
Edith Sellers, of 466 N. 21st
St., East St Louis, HI. “I
couldn't sleep nights, I was so
restless. I felt tired and not
in condition to do my work.
I would have such pains in
my stomach that I was afraid
I would get down in bed. . .
My mother came to see me
and suggested that I use
GARDUi
The Woman’s Tonic
I felt better after my first
bottle. I had a better appe-
tite. It seemed to strengthen
and build me up. I am so
glad to recommend Cardui
for what it did for me. I
haven’t needed any medicine
since I took Cardui, and I am
feeling fine.”
Nervousness, restlessness,
sleeplessness—these symp-
toms so often are the result
of a weak, run-down condi-
tion, and may develop more
seriously if not treated in
time.
If you are nervous and
run-down, or suffering from
some womanly weakness,
take Cardui.
Sold everywhere.

Station to Station
Calls Cost Less
When you ask Long Distance
to get a certain telephone num-
her m a distant city and, when
connected, you speak to any one
at that number, you have made what is de-
scribed as a Station-to-Station call.
That is, on a St at ion-to-Station call do not
specify a particular person to he reached, hut
give only the Camber of the telephone or the
name or address under which that telephone
is listed.
A Station-to-Station call costs less than a
call for a particular person because less op-
erating labor and less circuit time are re-
quired than if a particular
person has to he located
and brought to the tele-
phone.
