Health Service at Winters and
Ballinger.
The Chick Lavenes enter-
tained Larry, Dot, Christy and
Linda Adams Saturday night
with a barbecue at their home.
W. A. and Mary Roberts and
daughter, Carrol Lynn, from
Buffalo Gap visited Saturday
and Sunday with Artie Rob-
erts.
Mrs. Lillian Sullivan has en-
joyed a three weeks vacation.
She visited her son, Jack Greer
along with grandchildren in the
Dallas area for a couple of days
before she and Jack traveled to
Jacksonville, Florida to visit
her daughter and son-in-law,
Audrey Faye and Fred Jones.
The three, Mrs. Sullivan, Aud-
rey and Fred Jones visited
family in Lexington, Kentucky
before going to Washington, D.
C. for an entertaining tour of
the capitol area.
Friday night Mrs. Lillian
Sullivan, Mary Anne and Var-
die Dale, Shelia and Julia
Durham of Coleman attended
the wedding of Mrs. Sullivan’s
great niece, Christy Heath in
Abilene.
Elvin and daughter Debbie
Tomlinson of Belton have visit-
ed in the home of Foy and Nora
Tomlinson over the weekend.
Visitors with Annie Tyson
Sunday were Ruth Grossman,
cousins R. B. and Florine Mc-
Nutt from Ballinger, a brother-
in-law, Cecil Ray and Mr.
Charlie Bates visited Monday
morning.
James, Sharron Kirby and
children, Robin and Brady of
Garland, visited in the home of
his parents, Mr, and Mrs. D. B.
Kirby during the weekend.
John and Sue Flores and son,
John visited Sue’s parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Victor Ybara, and
other relatives in Hondo over

God Revival
Is Planned
Rev. Mike Alexander, his
wife Wendy, and son Michael
will conduct revival services at'
the Colenian First Assembly of
God Church August 16-19.

Services will be Sunday night
at 6 p.m., and Monday through
Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Pastor
A1 Stanley states the church is
open to all people of all faiths,
and invites all interested per-
sons to attend these special

Rev. Alexander began his
preaching in, the Baptist Church
at the age of sixteen. He
attended Kilgore College in his
home town, and East Texas
Baptist College. He has been a
minister and worked in mis-
sions in Baptist and Assembly
of God churches across the U.
S. and in India. H^ has served
as pastor of two Baptist church-
es and been youth director in
two others. He is the author of
“Youth Happening Is Dyna-
mite” and has appeared ,on
television with his Youth Hap-
pening program.

attended the Story family reun-
ion the first weekend in August
in Nashville, Tenn. Their time
was enjoyed visiting plates,
sights, friends and family from
when they lived there.

dinner with Randy and Anette
Mabry in Abilene Friday even-
ing were Ulys and Irene Beard
of Silver Valley, Harley, Janice
and Natasha Sadler, and Teresa
and son, Joey, of Clyde.
Wilbur Pope and family from
Big Spring visited with Mrs.
Rosie Pope over the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Bowen’s
daughter and family, Connie,
Jerry Stephens, Michael Lee
and Stephanie Ann from Wil-
lingston, North Dakota return-
ed home after visiting here a
few weeks.
Mrs. Vera Grimes visited her
daughter and son-in-law, Jane
and Curly Mathews in Plano
recently. Afterwards Jane
brought Vera home and stayed
a few days visiting Mr. and
Mrs. J. D. Grimes and Doug
while here.
Guests in the Danny Ham-
monds home are: Mr. and Mrs.
Steve Kain from North Rich-
land Hills. Sunday visitors and
lunch guests joining them were
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Hammonds
of Coleman; also Geneva Ster-
ling visited with Teresa Ham-
monds last week.
Those attending the funeral
Sunday with Mr. and Mrs.
Earnest Reeves were Mr. and
Mrs. Billy Wayne Gorman of
Las Cruces, New Mexico, and
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Reeves,
Vicky Bowen and Amanda of
Sweetwater.
Mr. and Mrs. Mutt Brown
from Waco were recent guests
in the Dub Mow home.
Dub and Dorothy Mow en-
tertained 15 guests at their
home Friday night with a fish
fry. They also attended a family
reunion in Waco Saturday.
Tuesday lunch guests in the
Jerald Wilson home were J. D.
and Letha Barnett from Rifle,
Colo. They were enroute home
after visiting with their child-
ren, Johnny and Bonnie Barn-
ett and girls, and Steve and
Jackie Dunnaway, all of Odessa
who have recently added a new
member to their family, a baby
girl, Ruth Ann. Dug and Movita
Barnett and boys from New
Orleans, La. met them there
and spent the night with the
Jerald Wilsons Tuesday night
on their return home.
If there are mistakes, or
more than usual, this week it’s
because we’ve been moving
into mama's house the last few
days.
Pray for rain.

There are no words that can
express our appreciation for all
the flowers, memorials, food
sent, cards, visits, and most of
all the prayers during the
illness and passing of our dear
Mother. A special thanks to the
nurses at the hospital and
Leisure Lodge for the loving
care they gave her. Thanks to
Bro. Skelton and Bro. Bigham.
