home. It was so thoughtful

lupe Lopez.
Visiting Lila Rabon were

Dunn, Elmei; and Allie Dil-
lard.
We would like tq express
our sympathy to the Allie
Holder family. We are so
sad that she passed away
and we just dearly loved
her and will always re-
member Allie. She was a
lovely lady and someone
you can never forget. May
God bless you all.
Pearl Hudson was visit-
ed by Tammie Hohensee,
The third annual Harper
reunion was held July 29-
31 at Flat Rock Park, Lake
Brownwood with 78 per-
sons registering.
Entertainment for the
group included boating,
skiing, swimming, fishing,
games, cake walk, volley-
ball, horseshoe throwing
and visiting. A barbecue
meal was catered on Sat-
urday, July 30, in the
evening by 3 K’s Bar-B-
Que of Coleman.
Those attending the re-

Joyce M. Harris, Mr. and chilaren,( jeff and Robin

CONFERENCE
The annual Western
Cotton Production Confer-
ence will be held Aug. 9-11
at the Holiday Inn in Las
Cruces, N.M. A wide range
of topics will be discussed,
including the worldwide
cotton supply and useage,
the PIK program, the 1984
farm program, HVI class-
ing, research on hybrid
cottons, experimental row
spacings and harvesting
techniques, field cleaners
for cotton strippers, gin-
ning stripped cotton, drip
irrigation, and cotton in-
sect and weed control. The
conference is the largest
annual event for western
cotton growers, says a
