There was a short recognition of
Armistice day: -- with members
standing at attention for a few
minutes In honor of the ones who
gave their lives for their country
during the World War. The clos-
ing number was a vocal solo “Holy
City, by Miss Grace Wllholt. with
Mr*. Elmer Him peon accompanying
at the piano.

joyed a picnic supper at the Santa
Anna Mountain park last Sunday
afternoon.

iness session. Mrs. C. F Cavanagh
gave a very Interesting and instruc-
tive lecture on Spanish and Italian
furniture’ using Illustrations of
different types In her discussion.

hostess paused a refreshment plate
to club members and Mrs. White

chill, con zueso, enchiladas, rice,
coffeo and pineapple.

chrysanthemums supplying the

bridge furnished diversion for the
afternoon. Mexican tallies and
score pads were used.

tional. “The Upper Room.” Mrs.
