Bryson Cowboys
Play Northside
Bryson Cowboys have just
finished a home game stand
with 1 win and 3 defeats. The
last two games which were de-
feats have been very good
games with Bryson getting a
few wrong breaks. Woodson
defeated Bryson 28 to 14 Octo-
ber 24. The game wasnotdeci-
ded until the last few minutes of
the ballgame. The highlight of
the Woodson ballgame was the
crowning of Bryson’s 1969
Homecoming Queen, Miss Gay-
la Taylor, daughter of Supt. and
Mrs. H. M. Taylor.
The Goree Wildcats played a
halloween trick and beat the
Cowboys 36-6 Oct. 31. Howev-
er, the game was much closer
than the score indicated. Had
"Bryson got a few breaks the
score might have been in favor
of the Cowboys. Bryson’s de-
fense has much improved over
the past 4 games and the cow-
boys are playing like a team.
Bryson Cowboys closed out
their 1969 season Friday at
Northside.
