at 2:00 p.m. in Shearer
Hills Baptist Church in San
Antonio. Dr. Charles Wis-
dom performed the cere-
mony. Organist was Phil
Sitton.
The bride is the daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. David
E. Johnson and the groom
is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
William Roberts, all of San
Antonio. The bride is the
granddaughter of Mrs.
Fritz Borchers of Schulen-
burg. The groom is the
grandson of Mr. and Mrs.
A. J. Roberts of Valera.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a
gown of ivory Chantilly
lace. The high neck bodice
featured long puff sleeves
with a lace covered satin
ribbon at the waist. The
all-lace skirt flowed into a
chapel-length train border-
ed with Venice and Chan-
tilly lace. She chose a ma-
tching headpiece and fin-

Vickie Burnett, new em-
ployee for the Central
Colorado Soil and Water
Conservation District, has
recently assumed her du-
ties as a soil conservation
technician. Vickie is a na-
tive of Rector, Arkansas
where she grew up on a
farm. Her husband, Lyn
Burnett, is a carpenter
with Terry Loyd Construc-
tion. They reside in Cole-
man.
Vickie will be located in
the Coleman Field office

carnations and miniature
spider mums which cas-
caded into trailing laven-
der and ivory ribbons.
Maid of honor was Lynn
Grosenbacker and brides-
maid was Cathleen Gibney.
They wore identical floor-
length gowns of lavender
lace with a high-neck over-
blouse of lace. They carried
clutches of lavender spider
mums and daisies with
trailing ribbons. In their
hair were matching flower
pieces.
Best man was Paul
Heitzman and groomsman
was Dalyn Johnson, bro-
ther of the bride. Ushers
were Tim Bohnstedt and
Jay Bohnstedt, cousins of
the bride.
The groom was attired
in an ivory tuxedo. The
groomsmen, ushers and
fahters wore black tuxedos
with velvet vests and bow-
ties. Each had a white rose
boutonniere.

with a matching ribbon at
the waist. The groom's
mother wore a dress of
mint green. They were
presented white rose cor-
sages with ribbons to
match their dresses.
A reception followed in
the fellowship hall of the
church. The bride's 3-tier-
ed cake was decorated
with flowers of two shades
of lavender and topped
with a ceramic bride and
groom. The table was cen-
terd with an arrangement
of white gladioli, spider
mums, and lavender dais-
ies, flanked by lavender
candles in silver candle-
sticks. Punch, mints and
nuts were served. The
groom's table had a match-
ing centerpiece and a Ger-
man chocolate cake. On
this table, cheese, crack-
ers, sliced sausage and
coffee were served.
Members of the house-
party were Carla Cherne-
sky, Margie Thorne,
Sharon Lynch, Cathy
Christa, Barbara Bohn-
stedt and Jerry Pianta.
The groom's parents
hosted the rehearsal din-
ner.
Following a wedding trip
to Austin, the couple will
reside in San Antonio.
Attending from Coleman
were Mrs. Doyle Roberts
and Mrs. Terry Wilson,
also Mr. and Mrs. A. J.
Roberts of Valera.
Herb Robison
Dies; Rites
Held Monday
Herb H. Robison, 52, of
Lake Coleman died Friday,
November 4, in Monahans.
Funeral services were
Monday, November 7, at
10 a.m. in Bethel Baptist
Church in Monahans and
graveside service was at
4:30 at Coleman City
Cemetery. Rev. Roger
Hammonds of First Baptist
Church in Coleman officia-
ted. Wilson Miller Funeral
Home of Monahans direct-
ed.
Mr. Robison lived in the
Wickett area and had just
recently moved to Lake
Coleman. He was a mem-
ber of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his
wife, Darlene Robison, of
Lake Coleman; his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Jay Robison
of Lake City, Arkansas;
three brothers, Larry of
Wickett. Clifford of Odessa
and Teddy of Coleman; two
sisters. Mrs. Olene Har-
man of Lake City, Arkan-
sas and Mrs. Wanda Mann
of Haskell, Oklahoma; and
five grandchildren.
