Jane Sheppard with a shower
at the home of Mrs. Davis.
Decorations were carried out
in pink and green. Table was
laid with white linen hand work
over pink. House was decorated
with cut flowers. Refreshments
of cake, punch, nuts and sand-
wiches were served.
In the receiving line were
Mrs. Sheppard and Barbara
and Mrs. Pollard. Miss Karan
Sheppard was in charge of the
guest book. Colleen Wolfe and
Margie Nell Wilton registered
guests.
Miss Barbara Jane Sheppard
will be married to Frank Pollard
of Graham Sept. 1 at the Bap-

The ladies of Cooper Commu-
nity met with Mrs. Lou Camp-
sey August 17 for their regular
bi-monthly meeting.

Boyd, Mrs. E. M. Myers, Mrs.
G. H. Jamison, Mrs. Frank Boyd,
Mfs. A. L. Campsey, Mrs. Thos.

One guest was present, Marilyn
Boyd of Dallas.
This was a surprise birthday
party for Mrs. A. L. Campsey,
who is 81 this month.

17th. Katherine had a checkup
and was dismissed from Scot-

ida to spend the winter.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Boyd spent
the weekend in Ft. Worth re-
cently.

to Worth Ranch to bring Mike
Myes, Jimmy Nixon and Jerry
Dixson home.
Mrs. Edna Riggs attended the
golden wedding anniversary of
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Ziegler in
Mineral Wells. Reception was
held on the mezzanine of the
Crazy Hotel.

held in the Armory Sunday.

Mrs. G. H. Jameson of this
community and Mrs. John Jame-
son and Mrs. Bobbie Barker of
Jacksboro were en route to Pa-
ducah to visit relatives Monday
when they had a blowout. The
car careened off the highway
and hit several posts before
stopping. The car was badly
damaged. Occupants suffered
minor cuts and bruises.

Peter Smith Hospital in Fort
Worth, last Thursday. She is
able to have visitors, but most
of her body is still paralyzed.
Mrs. D. H. Anderson returned
home with them after staying
a few days at the hospital.

Wichita Falls visited Mr. and
Mrs. P. R. Riley over the week-
