Topeka. Kans.. Dec. 6.—Mrs. Carrie
Nation was jailed yesterday on the
charge of disturbing the peace. She
was forcibly ejected from several drug

her walk in and she was closely
watched she attempted no smashing.

lowed her and druggists and “joint-
ists" slammed the doors in her face.

board made a supplemental appropria-
tion of 10 cents per capita for the
