Bike Out Hi ungr is a
campaigning event put on
by Texas Baptists and the
Texas Hunger initiative to
raise money and awareness
for fighting hunger in Tex-
as and around the world.

these volunteers were ex-
perienced long-distance
bikers while others were
not. Regardless, all pushed
through the wind and hills
to completing their ride at
the Wellness Center on the
HPU campus in about two
hours.
HPU held a rally for rid-rus that ia v, a

the Texas Hunger ini-
tiative spoke on the nature
of hunger around the world
and in the state of Texas.

this event helps to sup-
port hunger relief through
means of building com-
munity gardens and watre

to be the No. 1 state for

dren in the United States.

cent of the people who
