THE WYUE MMTEHAL ALLIANCE PRESENTS...
Good News!
This week's guest writer is Rev. L Chancy
Gore, pastor of Jesus Name Pentecostal
Church and a member of the Wylie Ministerial
Alliance.
Three principles that
govern my life
1. GOD IS STILL GOD! - "For l am the Lord, I change not...” (Mai
3:6). God doesn’t change. People, times, values, circumstances, poli-
tics and feelings all change. This can be for the better or for the worse.
Yet God is still the same as He has always been, even in the midst of
our ever changing world. Hold on to God!
2. THE BIBLE IS STILL THE BIBLE! - "Forever, 0 Lord thy word
is settled in heaven." (Ps 119:89). People, time, society, traditions, cir-
cumstances, politics, values and teachings all change. This can be for
the better or for the worse. Yet in the midst of our ever changing world,
the Bible is still the same “Good Book” that it has always been! It is
a book for all times and all people! No matter what one preaches or
teaches falsely and who may even fall in sin, the Bible is still the
Bible! Hold on to the Bible! The Bible never changes.
3. THE TRUTH IS STILL THE TRUTH! - "And ye shall know the
truth, and the truth shall make you free." (Jn 8:32). Once again, peo-
ple, times, circumstances, values, society, public opinion and tradi-
tions all change. This can be for the better or for the worse. Yet, in the
midst of our ever changing world, God’s Bible truth never changes!
The truth of the Word of God will always be there. It is the same today
as it was yesterday. No matter who says what or who throws in the
towel, the truth is still the truth. Hold on to the truth for it never
changes, and the truth shall make you free!
