Mrs. Frank Rogers and Miss
Doris Miller had charge of t)ie
program when the Mutual Im-
provement met in the home of
Mrs E. W. Scott Friday after-
noon. Mrs. Everett McKinney
was co-hostess with Mrs. Steve
Brown presiding for the business.
Mrs. Rogers and Miss Miller
told of their trip to the Pasion
Play in Oberammergau, Ger-
many, with Mrs. Rogers em-
phasizing that village and cus-
toms. Miss Miller showed pic-
tures and explained the Passion
Play.
Refreshments were served to

Harmans Celebrate
66th Anniversary

Mrs. Harman, who is 86, man-
ages to get around very well
and doesn’t use glasses except
for reading. Mr; Harman, who
is almost 93, has been ailing
lately, but he managed to get
up and join his. family in a quiet
anniversary celebration.
The Harmans first fnoved to
Coleman county in 1905 for a
short time. They have been back
eight years and live with their
daughter, Mrs Ruby Poole.
All the daughters were here for
and Mrs. Herbert Curry of Cole-
man and Mrs. J W. Brooks of
Palestine. Other guests here
were two nieces, Mrs. J, W Cas-
key of Palestine and Mrs. For-
rest Jones ol Crockett.
Mrs. Caskey’s son-in-law and
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Jones of San Angelo, also visited
the Harmans.
The Harmans have 28 grandr
children and about 25 great-
grandchildren.
