"It’s A Mark White Night” according to the posters and word being spread around Dallas. Well, it’s real-
ly a Mark and Linda Gale White Night. The two will be honored at a Cocktail Reception next Monday,
August 18 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Founders Square located at 900 Jackson Street between Griffin and
Lamar.

Mark and Linda Gale White have been guests of the Israeli government and during their visit Governor
White introduced several cooperative projects from which Israelis and Texans are now benefitting. These
include agricultural, electronic and other commercial endeavors.
Spearheading this tribute to the Governor and Linda Gale are Arnie and Janice Sweet and Marc and
Wendy Stanley.
Sweet said:
"We’re expecting an
exceptionally good turnout.
This Governor has been
exceptionally sensitive to the
concerns of the Jewish
community. He has a good
grasp of the Middle East and
Israel's daily problems.” Sweet
and his wife, Janice, and
Livingston Kosberg and his
wife, Saranne, accompanied
. the White's and other Texas
officials on their visit to Israel
and Egypt.

was on a Z0A Tour of Israel this
Summer. Elysa described
vividly her visits to Mt. Scopus,
the Mt. of Olives, the emotional
visits to Yad V'Shem and the
Western Wall. Her tour took her
to Haifa, the Michmoret Sea
Resort, the Sea of Galilee,
Safad and Rosh Hanikra. She
spent exciting days visiting Tel
Aviv, Eilat and Jerusalem where
she celebrated her Bat Mitzvah
again at the Western Wall.
Younger sister, Heidi, as well as
the Tysons, eagerly awaited
Elysa’s return.

Ancient Biblical Text Found
JERUSALEM (WNS) - An
ancient Biblical text was
uncovered in an archaeological
dig in Jerusalem, it was
announced here. The text
includes the priestly
benediction in full. The text
was found in two copies,
engraved on petit silver plates,
near the Jerusalem Station, by
a team of archaeologists,
headed by Gaby Barkai of Tel
Aviv University.
