record 23 participants on the
1994 March of the Living, a
two week mission to Poland
and Israel, on April 5-19. A
total of 300 youth will travel
with BBYO as part of the
1500 member U.S. delega-
tion. In addition to eight par-
ticipants from Tulsa BBYO,
attending from the Metroplex

Sol Zim’ s concert this Satur-
day evening at Temple Sha-
lom are in for a special treat
This TJP scribe heard Cantor
Zim in Fort Worth last Sun-
day night and it was an
evening of sheer musical
delight at Congregation
Ahavath Sholom. Cantor
Zim, a super entertainer with
a powerful voice, presented
an unparalleled concert. The
capacity audience was en-
thralled as they listened to
Zim’s vast repertoire which
included Broadway show
a bit of opera, Yid-
dish, folk songs and cantorial
selections. His participation
with the children of the F. W.
Hebrew Day School and
Ahavath Sholom youngsters
was outstanding. He received
a standing ovation.

their monthly luncheon meet-

las congregations or the JCC. The Jewish

Seder the first night of Passover. Among

ing foods and donations, not only for the
Food Bank, but for Passover packages for
Dallas’ New Americans, as well as the frail,
senior citizens, single parents and low
