Fredericksburg where they at-
tended the tenth annual con-
vention of the state Luther
league last week. They were
much impressed by the whole-
hearted welcome extended by
every business house and every
citizen of Fredericksburg they
said. The convention was de-
clared the most successful and
the largest attended the league
has ever held.
Will Weiderapahn-is at the
Temple Sanitarium where he
recently underwent an opera-
tion on his leg from which he
has been suffering for some
time. He is reported to be doing
well.

on business.

birthday.

The children and grandchild-
Walker gave a great dinner in
honor of her 88th birthday at
the home of her son Will near

the good things that could have
been prepared by loving hands
were brought and placed unon a
long table under the shade of
trees. Her pastor Rev. Green
cave a beautiful tribute of praise
to her and her christian influ-
ence throughout the commun-
ity. Yea throughout the state
or where eer her decendents
live her christian influence
thrives. There were present
six children two absent twenty
five grandchildren present and
twenty-six absent thirty-four
great grand children present
and twenty-two absent. One
hundred and four relatives and
friends pargok of this great re-
