Many good arguments in be-

preaented but here is the 'best
one that has come to the atten-
tion of the Signal:
At a certain county seat in
North Texas the first week in
Febraury a. meeting was held
atfendod by about two hundred
farmers bankers and leading
busines men -of the town. Sev-
eral addresses wore made on the
present cotton crisis and the
danger of fui'ther losses from
another big cotton crop.
Finally one of the bankers
present asked that all farmers
who had corn in the crib of their
own production to arise. Twelve
men aroso. After they were
seated he asked for all fanners
who had' meat in the smoke-
house of their own raising and
curing to arise . The same
twelve men arose. After they

Two canaries from one egg is
the trick of nature reported by
Miss Addie L Clark 2827 Hol-
mes street. Both of tho twina
are perfect in every way ana
show signs of developing into" ex
ccllent singers said Miss Clark
owner of the birds.
Tho twins wqra partial com-
pensation for tho mother bird
which had started will three
eggs Miss Clark raportod. The
bird broke one of the three eggs
and Miss Clark another leav-
ing only oc egg.
Twin birds are reported by
bird fanciers to be very rare.
When there are two germs of
life in one egg they usually are
far apart in the egg and the
birds develop with their heads
in opposite directions making it
impossible for both to break
through the shell to the air.
