The free Nutrition Information
Series at the Hufuley Health Fit-
ness Center continues with a pro-
gram entitled “Don’t Eat Your
Heart Out"
This new monthly series of pro-
grams features tree one-hour
presentations featuring vital in-
formation on nutritional health.
Each program is being held on
the second Tuesday of each
month throughout 1986.
The February program will fea-
ture Health Fitness Center dieti-
tian Laurie Brown. "In com-
memoration of ‘Heart Month' we
wanted to focus on the relation-
ship between diet and high
cholesterol levels, which can lead
to heart disease, in a program
called 'Don’t Eat Your Heart
Out,’” says Brown.
The program will give practical
advice for eating by identifying
low fat, high fiber and low
cholesterol foods. "We will give
you information that will help
you pick out the right food items
as you walk down the aisles of
the supermarket,” Brown adds.
A film called "Eat Till Your
Heart's Content" will be shown,
and recipes from the American
Heart Association will be avail-
able. Anyone concerned about
blood cholesterol levels will es-
pecially want to attend.
This Nutrition Information
program will be held at the
Huguley Health Fitness Center
(next to Huguley Hospital on
South Freeway in Fort Worth) on
Feb. II form 7 to 8 p.m.
Next month’s program will be
held March ll. It is entitled,
"Fiber: the Incredible Bulk.”
