Mrs. H. M. Bailey has re-
turned from a several days’
visit with her husband and the
family of their son, Mr. and
Mrs. Harold Bailey, at Pasa-
dena. Her husband accepted
a position in Pasadena about
two months ago. Harold has
recently received his license to
the ministry, and delivered
his-first sermon Sunday morn-
ing at Memorial Baptist
church in Pasadena.
Corp. William P. Byrn has
arrived for a week-end viait
with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
W. M. Byrn of Timpson. Corp.
Byrn is stationed at Waco
Army Air Field.

Sgt. and Mrs. J. P. Kyle
left Tuesday for Port Arthur
after a visit of several days
with Sgt. Kyle's parents, Mr.
and Mrs. N. Kyle of this city.
After a brief visit in Port Ar-
thur, Sgt. Kyle will return to
Pomona, Calif., where he is
in service with U. S. forces.
Mrs. Kyle’s parents reside in
Port Arthur and she is mak-
ing her home with them while
her husband is away. "
Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Settle
of Houston were week-end
visitors of her mother, Mrs. L.
E. Weir.

ter spending a week in this
city with Mrs. Campbell’s sis-
ter, Mrs. Reagan Paramore.
Mrs. H. L. Pratt of Hemp-
hill, has returned home after a
visit with her daughter, Mrs.
Reagan Paramore, of this city.
Pvt. Melvin Marshall, and
wife and baby Glenda Ruth,
have been visiting his sister,
Mn. Reagan Paramore of this
city. Pvt Marshall has re-
turned to his duties at Shep-
pard Field, and his family
will join him within the next
few days.

poral Fred Johnson informed
