—The Office of Price Adminis-
tration today shuffled passen-
ger tire rationing classification
to allow motorists heretofore
eligible only for used tires to
obtain new “factory seconds”
tires.
OPA also announced that
new “factory seconds” pas-
senger tubes are being taken
out of rationing and now may
be purchased without certi-
ficate.
Coleman Jacobs of Center,
candidate for District Clerk,
was a Timpson visitor this
morning.

“KID’S DAY”
Thursday was “Kid’s Day”
for Seniors of Tim peon High
School and the entire class was
out for a day of fun, and they
found a day filled with Joy and
and daughter, and his mother, pleasure. Attired in costumes
Granny Rhodes, spent Sunday
with Mr. and Mrs. Otis
Rhodes. They were visitors at
church Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Crump
and children' spent the week-
end at Houston with hb par-
ents and other relatives.
Mbs Edith Billingsley has
returned to Houston after a
several days visit with her par-
ents at Shady Groye, and oth-
er relatives here. She has em-
ployment at Pasadena.

moved here from Galveston
and are making their home at
present with John Garrison.

visited Sunday with hb par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Brit-
tain, at Blair.
Aunt Julie Anderson is at
the home of her nephew, Ollie:
Rhodes in Shreveport, and
receiving treatment at a clinic
in that city. She b reported
to be doing nicely.
Grover Crump and Mr. and
Mrs. F. M. Brittain were re-
cent week-end visitors with
Mr. and Mrs. Julius Foretich
and sons at Conroe. Mrs.
Crump returned home with
them after a week’s visit in
Houston and Conroe.
Mr. and Mrs. John Beasley
usually worn by kids the class
made a visit in the business
section of town, where they
found plenty of ice cream
cones, candy—and very little
chewing gum. At noon the
class enjoyed a picnic at

Parmley, sponsor, was with
the class through the day’s sc
tivities.

spent several days last week
