home.
She was born August 8,
1950, in Turtle Point, PA to
Charles Paul Homell and
Naomi (Ryan) Homell.
She is survived by two
daughters, Kimberley Barbee of
Dublin, Cindy Coan of Morgan
Mill, son Cliff Mericle of
Stephenville, four grandsons,
lour granddaughters, six sisters
and five brothers in
Pennsylvania.
No services were scheduled.
The body was cremated.

Remi DeAnn Hoffman,
daughter of Hobey and Kasey
Hoffman of Dublin, went to
Houston on May 23, to compete
in the Sunburst USA Beauty
Pageant for the Texas State
Finals. Remi placed 12th out of
212 babies in her age.

Ranger College Belles to frost final tryout
On Saturday, June 14, the
Ranger College Southern Belles
will host their final tryout from
the 2003-2004 season. The try-
out will begin at 1 p.m. in the
Ranger College Gymnasium.
Participants will be taught a
routine and then judged on their
dance ability, personality,
showmanship, spirit, and work
ethic.
The Southern Belles are
awarded scholarships that range
from $1100 per year to $1600
per year. Scholarships will be
awarded at the end of the tryout.

A roast beef benefit dinner
