Mat Plunkett is having a
shaft sunk to the lake of water
lately discovered on his farm
* near town by Mr. Wortham with
a forked stick. The hole is
being put down by Cisero Fry,
at former citizen of Habersham
county, Georgia, but now the
celebrated underground explorer
of Cumby. Likely before this
sees the light water will have
been found in abundance and
that question settled once and
for all for this community. If
no fish are found there is likely
to be trouble after raising the
expectation of the people so
high.
