TxDOT-plans
FM 8 project
Construction is expected to begin
in the fall of 2002 on a Texas
Department of Transportation
project which will double the pave-
ment width of FM 8 from the
Erath/Eastland county line to Lin-
gleville.
The project will upgrade the
existing two 10-foot lanes to two
12-foot lanes with eight-foot shoul-
ders. *
Preliminary engineering, which
includes surveying, environmental
assessment and design of alterna-
tive development, will be per-
formed prior to a public meeting
which has not been scheduled.
