end of the table. Tall aqua
glass containers holding match-
ing candles and gold grapes
flanked the central arrange-
ment of the credenza. Miss
Sandra Cameron and Mrs. Emil
Mazoch assisted in the dining
room.
"The Blue Notes" a high
school quartette composed of
Misses Sally Schwertner Janie
Gommert Janis Dillard and
Katherine Decker sang Christ
mas carols.
Miss Bertha Ehly directed
the entertainment during the
social hour.
The Christmas decor was us-
ed in every room of the home.
Colors to harmonize with the
color of the rooms were used.

Bartlett teams divided a
double header with Sharp there
Monday evening with the girls
winning by three points and the
boys losing by two.
In the opening game the Las-
sies came from behind late in
the game 43-40 after also
holding a 25-18 half time edge.
Janice Dillard was high for

Bartlett Lassies took two
wins over the Taylor A and B
teams here last Thursday. The
Lassies won 45-31 and the B
team won 33-9.
The Little Lassies held Tay-
lor scoreless in the second and
third periods in their game.
They were ahead at halftime
16-3.
Kalista Kretzschmar hit 15
points for the winners. Krin
Dawson and Pat Dusek made
five Joyce Miller six and Amy
Keller two. Rhdda Tannen and
Becky Pfluger scored four for
Taylor.
For the Lassies Jackie Hay-
nes made 17 and Janice Dillard
14. Sally Schwertner scored
eight and Helen Miller six.
Sherry Sefcik scored 16 to lead
Taylor.
The Lassise were ahead at
halftime 28-14.
Golden Circle Has
Party Monday
The Golden Circle Class of
the First Baptist Church met
for its Christmas party Mon-
day eyening in the home of Mrs.
Bob Green.
Mrs. Harold Morrison offered
prayer and Mrs. Doris Howell
told a Christmas story. Mrs.
Don Shannon gave a reading
and Mrs. Bob Green and Mrs.
Ralph Jackson sang "Silent
Night." The group also sang
Christmas carols.
Santa Claus made his visit
and presented presents from
the tree to the members. The
traditional Christmas theme
was carried out in decorations
of the home.
