LIVINGSTON - A tractor,
Sidewinder mower, lawn tractor,
post hole digger, socket set, sledge
hammer, metric tools, tape and die
set, tires and a chainsaw were
reported missing July 9 following
the burglary of a residence off FM
350 North, according to the Polk
County Sheriff's Department. The
burglary, reported July 9 and inves-
tigated by Deputy Clark Lott is
among several incidents recently
reported to the department.
The following cases are also un-
da investigation:
•The burglary of a residence in
Chester, reported July 13 and in-
vestigated by Detective Lt.

action shotgun, $45 in change, food
and two Bose speakers were
reported missing.
•The burglary of a building on
FM 3459, reported July 12 and in-
vestigated by Deputy Gary
Reynolds. A 19-inch TV set, as-
sorted liquor and canned goods
were reported missing.
•The burglary of a residence on
Mars ton Road, reported July 9 and
investigated by Deputy Bran dan
Lovell. A .45 automatic Firearm,
.380 automatic, .357 revolver, .44
caliber weapon with nine inch bar-
rel, Browning .22 rifle, Daisy .22
rifle, .22 rifle with scope and a
senior ring were reported missing.
•The burglary of a residence on
FM 3126, reported July 9 and in-
vestigated by Lott A Sylvania
stereo, baby swing, play pen, RCA
TV set fishing equipment, Electra
guitar and rings were reported
missing.
•The burglary of a residence in
Glen Haven, reported July 9 and in-
vestigated by Deputy Thomas Shef-
field. A Panasonic VCR, Sears 26-
inch console TV, household goods
and tools were reported missing.
•The burglary of a residence in
Tullos Loop, reported July 9 and
investigated by Deputy Daryl Hart-
less. An EMT trauma kit and tools
were reported missing.

Lake Livingston Village, reported
July 7 and investigated by McCoy.
A dart board and loover were
reported missing. %
•The burglary of a residence in
Big Thicket Lake Estates, reported
July 6 and investigated by Deputy
Mary J. Cain. Various keys, dolls, a
heater, tackle box, crafts, pictures,
a portable stereo, microwave oven,
sewing machine, riding
lawnmower, VCR tapes, jewelry,
antique glass, a 16-gauge shotgun,
12-gauge shotgun, Honda three-
wheeler and a welding machine
were reported missing.
•The theft of an aluminum boat
and trolling motor from Holiday
Lake Estates, reported July 14 and
investigated by Cain.
•The theft of a stop light signal
and flasher round red light from
U.S. 190 West, reported July 11
and investigated by Reynolds.
•The theft of a 50-horsepower
Mercury boat motor, metal gas
cans, travel trailer jack, fishing rods
and control cables from Sandy
Creek Marina, reported July 10 and
investigated by Reynolds.
•The theft «f a gciM ting and cash
end tables, a lamp, bed frame and
mattress, lounge chair, aluminum
carport and a smoke alarm from a
residence on Walters Street,
reported July 8 and investigated by
Deputy Daryl Hartless.
•The theft of a stainless steel
boat propeller from Cedar Point,
reported July 2 and investigated by
Cain.

In curriculum and instruction
matters, the board will consider ap-
proval of a Livingston High School
Crime Stoppers program for 1994-
95, a Criminal Justice Tech-Prep
grant for 1994-95, student
handbooks for the coming school
year and 1994-95 district goals.
Trustees will also consider for-
mal acceptance of the resignation
of B.L. Dockens from the board, as
was presented during a special-
called meeting last month, and will
consider appointing a board vice
president, a position formerly held
by Dockens.
The board will go into executive
session to consider resignation and
employment of personnel and to
consider a site for a transportation

The board will meet in a special-
called session at 6:30 p.m. Tues-
day, July 19, for a workshop ses-
sion on the 1994-95 budget and for
board training. Tuesday’s special
meeting will be held in the Com-
munity Education Building.
