TALCO HOME DEMONSTRATION
CLUB
One of the most interesting meet-
ings of the Talon Home Demonstra-
tion Club was held Friday afternoon
at the home of Mrs. Franklin.
The Jo: son was desserts and inva-
lid cookery. Mrs. Marphree secured
the aid of Miss Harris, State Demon-
strator, for the Jell-0 Co., for this
demonstration.
Miss Harris first gave the method
of manufacturing and the food value
of Jell-O. Then she prepared the
following attractive dishes: Jell-0
Pimento Walad, Pineapple Bavarian
Cream, Neapolitan Jell-O, Pineapple
and Raspberry Neapolitan, Plain
Strawberry Jell-O; and Mayonaise
Dressing.
If the beauty of a dish appeals to
one’s appetite, these surely would;
and all readily agreed that Miss Har-
ris could certainly tempt an invalid.
It was truly a pleasure to have Miss
Harris; she leaves manys friends as
she won all the ladies with her sweet
and magnetic way.
Mrs. Marshall in her quiett and un-
assuming manner expressed hearty
thanks to Miss Harris in behalf of the
club.
Next meeting will be held at the
school house July 3rd. This will be
a Child’s Welfare program and ev-
eryone is invited to attend.
