“The Old Man Across The Street*
MY FRIEND MY NEIGHBOR
Well Joe, This is the last trip you'll ever have to make,
No heavy luggage to cany, no toothbrush to bring;
All you'll need to any is your wedding ring.
So leave it all behind, don't take anything;
The one your going to see is the Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
Your going to a place which you've never been;
A place which is beautiful throughout and within.
No maps to bring or to get lost;
No expensive gas or anything that costs.
I'll miss the times when the grass was cut;
Especially the times when Mildred would call and say, 'Hey Joe's stuck'.
I remember you telling me that your dad aid, "Joe, you'll r\ev*r
amount to a thing*;
But look Joe, your going to see the King.
111 miss the stories you told me over and over and time again;
I'd give anything to hear them again from you, my friend.
The hardest thing to explain to Whitney and Chance,
is that their Paw-Paw Bush Li gone to a better place;
