NEEDED:
A FEW GOOD MEN
The American Legion Post 312 needs eight (8) Veterans of any
service, either present members or eligible for membership in the
American Legion, to supplement our Color Guard/Honor Guard
Squads. Full Uniforms will be provided by Post 312. Full training
will also be provided. Prior Military Honor Guard experience is not
required, but would be a plus for selection
The Color Guard posts the Colors at public and/or private functions
upon request, and gives demonstratons of folding the flag and other
flag history and etiquette. The Honor Guard provides military
honors at funerals and memorial services for fallen Veterans.
All interested parties are encouraged to contact Jack Dorwin,
Captain of the Guard, at his home phone 967-8699 for further
information and instructions, or call the Post at 327-7601 on
Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday afternoons_
