Iii the concert hall, a standing ovation is the highest award an audience can give to an
entertainer. In healthcare, positive responses on patient questionnaires are an
applause - an expression of .gratitude - a mark of the providers expertise. In a hospital
facility, the Press Ganey Compass award is a standing ovation.
Thanks to positive responses in patient satisfaction data, Memorial Medical Center of
East Texas has been named one of three facilities nationwide, and the only facility in
Texas to receive this prestigious award. Patient satisfaction over a period of two years
must reach certain standards to receive this award. Those have been exceeded.
Our "thanks" to you for helping Memorial Medical Center of East Texas excel. To
our physicians and staff - "thank you" for providing service that isn't required by
medical textbooks or policy manuals. "Thank you" for accepting the challenge and
working to provide the Five Star Service that has earned Memorial Medical Center of
East Texas the Press Ganey Compass Award. This is your standing ovation.
