chocolate and lots of warm
clothes were the order of the
day- Thursday and Friday--
-for the annual New Caney
Freshman, JVs and Varsity
Relays held in Eagle Sta-
dium on the campus of New
Caney ISD Middle School.
Livingston Junior High
School freshman thinclads
won the championship tro-
phy here Thursday night
with 126 points.
“This is the first track
meet championship for our
freshman team in years,”
said Coach John Taylor.
This kids came to school
Friday morning wearing
their medals.
Record breaking lemcra

lor the Lions of Livingston
and other visiting schools
Thursday.

pole vault, 10-fcct; and Jer-
emy Tinsley, I 10-meter high
hurdles, 19.5 seconds; and
300-rnetcr intermediate hur-
dles, 50.9 seconds.
Winning third place med-
als were Justin Bickford,
discus, 91-feet, 9 indies.
