Lozoya, 30, of Hobbs, New
Mexico, was arrested and charged
with' driving while intoxicated—
second offense.

were told of a possible theft that ,resPass-
occurred north of Seminole on U.S.
385 and that the owner of the PollCC
told officers he did take a tire from
the property, but when confronted
by the owner, he put the lire back.
Later investigation
revealed that Burritt had given a
false name and identification when
arrested. He was taken to Gaines
County Jail and charged with theft,
failure to identify and criminal

vehicle involved in an accident at

transported a patient from F.J.
Young school to Memorial
Hospital.
1/9—At 9:13 a m., EMS
was called to the Seminole Police
Department. No transport.
1/9—At 12:50 p.m., EMS
was called to the 500 block of
Northeast 5,h Street. No transport.
1/9—At 8:42 p.m., EMS
transported a patient from a location
three miles east on U.S. 180 to
Memorial Hpspital.

will discuss school zones, the
wastewater treatment plant permit
fee and give the council an update
on the new drive-through window

Also at 7 p.m., the school
board will meet at the board room
of the administration building to
hear regular reports, conduct a
public hearing on the 2001-02
Academic Excellence Indicator
System (AEIS) and conduct an
executive session concerning a
parent complaint regarding student
discipline.
Following the closed session,
the board will take action regarding
that complaint, consider approval of
the AEIS report, consider an
addition to the district's vendor list
and consider adoption of an
interlocal cooperation agreement
with Gaines County that would
allow the district to use Lytle Field
for girl’s UIL softball play, which
will begin this year.
Another executive session to
discuss personnel, evaluate the
superintendent and consider
extension of the superintendent’s
contract, will also take place.

Seminole Police are currently investigating 21 reports of criminal
mischief that occurred from about 10 p.m. November 24 until the early
morning hours of November 25.
The incidents, which involved mainly breaking glass on parked
vehicles, occurred predominantly, but was not limited to, the northwest
and southwest parts of Seminole.
Persons providing information leading to the arrest and/or
conviction of the perpetrators of this crime may receive a reward of
