Wrobel will exchange wedding vows
on Sept. 1 in Golden, Co.
Gabe is the son of Annie and the late
Charlie Patton of Cooper. He was a 2003
graduate of Cooper High School. He
spent six year in active duty Army,
followed by two years in the Washington
DC Metropolitan Police Department.
He is presently attending the American
University in DC and is a member of the
Maryland National Guard.
Samantha is from Superior, Mt. and
graduated from Cornell University in
2005 and is presently a Senior Distribu-
tion Specialist for Abbott Point of Core.
She is the daughter of Patricia and Jerry
Nichols of Superior, Mt. and Ron
Wrobel of Thousand Palms, Ca.

Barbara (Carter) Jones,
79, of Garland passed away
Friday, August 3, 2012 at
Garland-Bay lor Hospital in
Garland, Texas. A funeral
service was held at 10 a.m.
Monday, Aug. 6, 2012 at the
Lavon Drive Baptist Church
with Dr. Gary Coleman and
Dr. John McCartt officiating.
Interment followed in Hill-
crest Memorial Park, Dallas,
Texas.
Barbara was born Febru-
ary 26, 1933 in Pecan Gap,
Texas. She was the daughter
of Lloyd and Laura (Quisen-
berry) Carter. She graduated
from Pecan Gap High School
and was later educated at
Baylor Nursing School to
follow her chosen profession
of nursing.
Her love of family and
friends was only exceeded
by her love of God, which
she demonstrated as an ac-
tive member of Lavon Drive
Baptist Church in Garland.
She taught Sunday School,
sang in the Choir and worked
tirelessly to help others.
She married Charles Ray
Jones 59 years ago on May
14, 1953. She is survived by
her husband, Charles Ray
Jones, Daughter and son-in-
law, Deborah Kay and Dan
Lewis, Grandson and grand-
daughter-in-law, Alan and
Joni Harris, Granddaughter,
Paula Joy Hams, great grand-
children Alana and Sebastian
Harris. She is also survived
by her sister, Deanna Land-
ers and her sister and brother-
in-law Joyce and E. J. Cates,
several nieces and nephews
and numerous friends.

Poole
Bobby Joe Poole, 76, of
Hurst, Texas passed away
Aug. 2, 2012. Full military
services were held on Aug.
7 at Blue Bonnet Hills Cem-
etery in Colleyville, Texas.
Bobby was born Sept. 9,
1955 in Powderly, Texas
to the late Grady and Irene
Poole. He was also preceded
in death by brothers Bill, Al-
len and Don.
Bobby retired as a Captain
in the Navy. He received his
PhD from East Texas State
University (ETSU) in Com-
merce.
Bobby is survived by his son
Kim Wayne Poole and Kim’s
mother, Wanda Jean Canup
Reynolds, brothers Jack of
Irving, Texas and Wayne and
wife Jane of Cooper, Texas.
He will be missed by his
family, friends and associ-
ates.
Ida Jewell Williams
Ida Jewell Williams, 64 a
native of Cooper, TX. Passed
8-11 -12 at her home surround-
ed by her family.
She is survived by one son
and three daughters all of
Cooper, TX; 16 grandchildren,
three great grandchildren.

Iler LaVay Gillean, 98, of
Enloe, passed away Tuesday,
August 14, 2012 at Paris Re-
gional Medical Center.
Graveside services will be
at 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug.
16, 2012 at the Camp Shed
Cemetery with Stacy Smith
officiating and interment will
follow under the direction of
the Delta Funeral Home.
Ms. Gillean, a resident of
Enloe all her life, was born in
Enloe, July 4, 1914. She was
the daughter of Marion Gil-
lean and Carsa Cole Gillean
Simpson. She was a Graduate
of Enloe High School, a mem-
ber of the Methodist Church at
Enloe and was a homemaker.
Survivors are two Nieces:
Ann Manning and husband,
Charles Manning of Grape-
vine, Carol Champion and
husband, Joe Champion of Al-
len, two Great Nieces and two
Great Nephews and six Great-
great Nieces and Nephews.

Mia Cooksey
Chautele “Mia” Cooksey,
41, passed away June 4,2012,
in Miami Florida.
Mia was born August 15,
1970 and grew up in the Pe-
can Gap and Commerce
area, but soon moved to
Connecticut to start her
schooling and career as a
Skin Care Specialist. She
moved to Florida in 1999
and built a successful Mas-
sage Therapy business.
She is survived by her
mother Deborah Siebenhau-
sen-Kiley (Pecan Gap); two
sisters Diesa Rupert (Dal-
las) Rama Tomasik (White
Settlement); one brother
Condy Hammer (Saginaw);
lots of nieces and nephews;
and two handsome sons
who carry on her beauti-
ful spirit and that amazing
smile Kaden Vega, 12, and
Ethan Santiag, 9, both of
Miami Florida.
A Memorial event will
be held on Saturday Aug.
18 from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. at
the Texas A&M Univer-
sity-Commerce-Ray burn
Student Center-Traditions
Room (212).
The family would like to

all those that knew Mia to
join them for this informal
celebration of her life and
