cer team had three players
earn all-district honors in
the tough District 36-4A.

forfeit. Please be on time.
Everyone must have a
wrist band on to be allowed

Jr. Girls
Automatically advance to the
National Tournament. They are
scheduled to play the best two
out of three games with Warren
for seeding for the National
Tournament. First game 9:15
a.m., April 12.

The Jr. Boys first game will
be 6 p.m., Friday, April 11.
Major Girls
Major girls first game will be
10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 12.

10 at 6 p.m.
Senior Girls
Senior girls first game will
be Saturday, April 12 at 8 a.m.

ican National Tournament in

Navasota Booster
Club golf tournament
to be held April 27
The Navasota Athletic Booster Club will hold its annual
golf tournament fundraiser on Sunday, April 27, at Pecan
Lakes Golf Club.
The four-man scramble will have a shotgun start at 8:30
a.m., with registration at 8 a.m. Team and hole sponsor-
ships are $450. Team sponsors are $300 and individuals
are $75 each. Hole sponsors are $200.

At the Madisonville High School Mustang relays on
Thursday, April 4th, the Richards Panthers took 6th
place as a JV Boys team, but earned some excellent
individual results. Junior Travelle Lewis took 1 st place
in the 1600 M Run (5:22.22), 3rd in the 800 M Run
(2:21.32), and 5th in high jump with a jump of 5’-4”.
Senior Chad Allman took 6th place in the 300 M Hur-
dles (50.40) and senior Andrew Fedrick earned 3rd
place in the long jump jumping 1T - 8”, and 3rd place
in the high jump jumping 5’ - 6”. Junior Jake McClel-
lan (above) earned 1st place with a pole vault of 10’-
6” and Senior Miles Conner attained a 9’-0” vault for
6th place. Junior Sonja Espinosa placed third in the
Varsity Girls’ shot put with a throw of 33’-2.5”.
Owls tennis competes in district tournament
Anderson-Shiro Owls tennis team members who re-
cently competed in a district tournament in Franklin
include, back row, left to right, Rilee Szhmanski (Fre-
shaman, JV girls double champion), James Hoeschele
(Freshman, JV boys singles), Dillion Moore (Senior,
Varsity Boys Doubles) and Derreck Sicola (Senior,
Varsity Boy Doubles); middle row, left to right, Emma
Fleming (Sophomore, Varsity girls doubles, third
place), Jessica Tomlinson (Senior, Varsity girls dou-
bles), Candice Walkoviak (Senior, Varsity Girl Dou-
bles, third place), Parker Thane (Freshman, JV Boys
Singles) and Shelby Heyman (Sophomore, Varsity girl
doubles); and front row, left to right, Hannah Barosh
(Freshman, JV girls doubles champion), Charlene
Ruffino (Junior, JV girls doubles second place) and
Asianna Brown (Freshman, JV girls doubles second
place).
