CONFIDING YOUR WISHES
('nless you take certain
com mon sense measures
now, the arrangements tm
your funeral and burial
may turn into a source of
conflict and misery among
your loved ones. II is not
cnouglit ot confide your
wishes to your spouse or
perhaps a close friend.
Other relatives may take
exception to certain ar-
rangements and try to
override such wishes and
even take over responsibili-
ty together - particularly if
you have entrusted this to a
friend.
Your best course is to tell
all involved parties what
you have decided so there is
no question about it later.
V011 may even wish to
name the responsible party
in \onr Will, or in a "Letter
of Instruction.” along with
specific wishes, t ides you
do this, there is a good
chance that such respon-
siblity w ill he turned over to
your closest living relative,
regardless of your relation-
ship to the person, and ar-
rangements made alien to
your wishes.

State records
AUSIN - Louis A. Kusey of
Schorl/, who already owns lwo
saltwater state records, proved his
versatility recently by setting a new
freshwater record.
Kusey was fishing in Lake Medina
on Feb. 22 when he caught a four-
pound American eel. The 41-inch eel
opens a new species category in the
record book.
Kusey also holds state records for
smalleye hammerhead, 151 pounds
and vermillion snapper, three
pounds, one once.
The Texas Parks and Wildlife
Department’s fish records commit-
tee also recently certified three new
saltwater records. A 12-pound,
seven-ounce gag caught by Floyd
Gene Gullory of Beaumont on April
18 was certified. Another gag,
weighing 20 pounds, 6lx ounces, was
taken by speargun by Rusty
Schwartz of Houston on March 14. It
will be a new entry in the
unrestricted division.
