officiating.
The bride is tbs daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. H. Z. Wooten of
Timpaon. Hr. and Mrs. L D.
McWilliams Jr. are parents of
the bridegroom.
Tall baskets of white stock,
gladioli, mad chrysanthemum*,
■ad sprays of palm flanked the
altar. On either side were white
fan-covered candelabra which
framed the center of the altar.
Qempleting the setting was
white carpet leading to the
white satin covered kneeling
bench where the couple ex-
changed their wedding vows.
Family pews were marked by
white satin bows intertwined
with plumose.
Lighting the aisle for the pro-
cessional were tall tapers in
crystal candle holders entwined
with greenery.
Preceding the ceremony, tra-
ditional wedding music was ren-
dered an the organ by Mrs. Ar-
thur Horton who also accom-
panied Mr. E. M. Wooten, uncle
of the bride, a he nog “0 Pro-
mise Me”, ‘'Because” and "The
Lord’s Prayer.”
Given in marriage by her fa-
ther, the bride wore a formal
length gown of tisane peau de
sole fashioned on prineeaa lines
with a full skirt sweeping to a
wide chapel length train. The
fitted bodice featured a wide
oval neckline and lcag sleeves
forming a point at the wrist.
The bodice was accented with
Chantilly lace which continued
down the front, forming a panel
of lace on the aUri. Pearls and
Iridescent sequins were scatter-
ed on the lace accent* Lace ap-
pliques and sequins added high-
lights to the train which was
bordered by lace also.
Her three-tiered veil of
French Illusion was held by a
crown of seed pearls.
The bridal bouquet of white
feathered canutions and orange
blossoms was centered by a
white orchid and trimmed with
whits velvet leaves and satin
ribbon streamers
Mrs. Kenneth Milford of Har-
lingen was her sister's Matron

length gowns of pagoda blue
peau de aoie with matching
colored shoes and white wrist
length Ud gloves. Their head-
dresses were bandeau bows of
pagoda blue paau de sois with
capri veils of tulle. They carried
nosegays of row pink earastions.
Charles Sogalqoist of Nacog-
doches, Tex. wsa best nun for
the wedding. Groomsmen were
David McWilliams, brother of
the bridegroom, of Timpson and
John MeDavid of Kilgore,, cousin
si the groom.

mony a reception was held in

cake which was topped with a
miniature bride and groom and
was decorated with roses sod
T. Murry of Temple served a small wadding balls
ushers and lighted the candles
prior to the eeremony.
Mr* Wooten selected for her
daughter’s wedding as oyster
white silk Bnen and lace en-
semble with matching acces-
sories. Her corsage was of rose
pink carnation*
