Miss Tina Paula Volght and Travis Wayne Stegllch exchanged nuptial vows at 4 p.m.
Saturday Sept. 15 at St. John Lutheran Church in Bartlett with Rev. Clarence Rose
performing the double ring ceremony.
The bride Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Voight of Bartlett and the
bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs B. II. Stegllch also of Bartlett.
Arrangements of gladiolas and white blue and yellow roses enhanced the setting
for the ceremony.
Wedding music was provided by Garland Kncten.
The bride given In marriage by her father wore a floor length gown of white sheer
woven polyester lined in acetate taffeta. The gown featured a lace appliqucd
sweetheart neckline and a v-shaped lace applique trimmed bodice in front and the
back. The skirt featured an empire waistline enhanced with lace applique edging at the
front pleated Insert forming a chapel length train. Her long sheer sleeves were
trimmed with lace appliques. Her headpiece was enhanced with lace appliques and
simulated pearl trim and attached to her veil of illusion with lace appliques. Her bridal
bouquet was of yellow roses white daisies and blue silk flowers and baby's breath.
Matron of honor was Irene Cavanaugh. Bridesmaids were Tina Nixon and Gloria
Stegllch.
The bridesmaids wore teal blue dresses which featured scoop necklines with capclctt
short sleeves and crystal pleated skirt of shiny polyester knit. They carried yellow silk
roses.
Randal Schlapia served as best man. Groomsmen were Alan Stegllch of Temple
brother of the groom and Richard Rafay of Bartlett.
Ushers were Daryl Stcglich of Bartlett and Gary Stegllch of Granger both brothers
of the groom.
Ken Kevin Cavanaugh of Bartlett was ring bearer.
Following the ceremony a reception was held In the basement of the church.
Members of the house party were Denise Splegclhauer Donna Thaler Jill Stcglich
Jan Nixon Nancy McBay and Patsy Hlghtower.
The bride is a 1977 graduate of Bartlett High School and attended Temple Junior
College.
The bridegroom is a 1972 graduate of Bartlett High School and attended Temple
Junior College. He is presently employed with Stcglich Feed & Farm Supply.
After a wedding trip the couple will reside in Schwcrtncr.
The parents of the bridegroom hosted a rehearsal dinner at the American Legion Hall
In Bartlett.

Melanie Lynn Smith became the wife of Bruce Swope in a recent wedding nt the
Wesley United Methodist Church In Huntsville. Rev. R. C. Terry performed the double
ring ceremony and music was provided by organist Jo Ann Schipmnnn and soloist
Anita Brown.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. II. Smith of Conroe and the groom is the
son of Mrs. Dillnrd Allen Swope of Bartlett and the late Mr. Swope.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an organza gown featuring
an eyelet ruffle extending over the shoulders The fitted bodice was highlighted by
appliques of silk venlce lace at the empire waistline. The skirt flowed into a chapel
length train trimmed with an eyelet ruffle. A fingertip veil of illusion flowed from a
matching headpiece of silk venisc. She carried a silk bouquet of while roses car-
nations peach carnations nnd streams of English ivy.
Sharon Smith sister of the bride served as maid of honor and bridesmaids were
Iaura Alen of Waco Christie Plumb of Houston and Janice Swope of Cameron. They
wore peach gowns trimmed with white lace.
D. A. Swope Jr. brother of the groom served as best man and groomsmen were
Tommy Sims of Angleton Frank Galassi of Huntsville nnd Harold Frank of Bellville.
Ushers and candlelighters were Mark Ernst of Huntsville nnd Brett Hnmmett of
Shreveport La. cousin of the groom
Immediately following the ceremony a reception and dance was held at the Goree
Recreation Center in I luntsvillc.
After a honeymoon trip to South Padre Island the couple plan to make their home in
Huntsville
The bride is a graduate of Conroe High School and Sam Houston State University.
The groom is a graduate of Bartlett High School and Sam Houston State University.
The bridegroom's mother was hostess for the rehearsal dinner at The Junction in
Huntsville.
