Garden Clubs plan Hondo convention
District VII, Texas Garden Clubs, Inc. board
members met in Hondo on June 9 at the Medina
Coop Building. Twenty-nine district officers and
chairmen attended. A luncheon was served by
Hondo Garden Club members at the home of Mrs.
Hilmer B. Haegelin, District Director. Plans were
made for the Fall Convention to be held in Hondo
on Nov. 2-3. Theme of the convention wi 11 be
