There is a large, metal
bell, at our national office,
which was cast from the
shackles and handcuffs that
once bound mentally and
emotionally disturbed
people”, said Shirley K.

'This bell is now a
symbol for the Mental
Health Association, ringing
out hope for the mentally ill
and victory over mental
illness,” she said.
During May, Mental
Health Month, Bellringers
will be collecting to help the
association continue their
work.
Brenda Saathoff of

-be coordinating the drive in
their communities.
