Charles Russell Finger, age
83, passed away on June 7,2005
in Hondo.
He was bom on Jan. 15,1922,
in Hondo, the son of John
Marcus and Emma Theresa
(Rothe) Finger.
• He is preceded in death by his
parents; brothers John Martin
Finger, Herman Finger, Jerome
Finger, Guenther Finger, and
August Finger; sisters, Evelyn
Boon and Frances Ferguson.
Charles is survived by his
daughter, Charlyn Burrell and
husband Spencer of D’Hanis;
granddaughter, Kalyn Burrell of
D’Hanis; brother, Thomas Fin-
ger; sisters, Mary Emma Knapp
of San Antonio, Rose Marie
Dyess and husband James of
Amarillo; brother-in-law James
Ferguson; and sister-in-law,
Kathleen Finger.
Rosary was recited Saturday,
June 11, and the Funeral Mass,
officiated by Fr. Wallis Stiles,
was at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June
11, at the Holy Cross Catholic
Church in D’Hanis. Burial was
at the Holy Cross Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Guinn-
Horger Funeral Home, Hondo.

Church, Natalia. Interment was
at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cem-
etery, Devine.

Moore. She was born in San
Antonio, Friday, March 11,
1932.
Survivors include her hus-
band, Gene Weaver of Moore;
son and daughter-in-law: Jim
Frank and Barbara Weaver of
San Antonio; daughters and
sons-in-law, Sarah Lynn and
Guy Holden of Moore and
Gene Anne and Victor Lucero
of Boeme; eight grandchildren
and six great-grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by
a son, Ward Lee Weaver in 1970
and grandson, Justin Ward Stacy
in 1980.

a.m. Monday, June 13, at Hurley
Funeral Home Chapel with
burial at Hillcrest Cemetery,
Uvalde.

Myrtle is survived by her

ANNABELLE ELIZABETH TONDRE HENCEY
Annabelle Elizabeth Tondre
Hencey, age 73, of Castroville
and LaCoste, passed peacefully
on June 12, 2005, surrounded
by the love of her family and
friends, as God mercifully
passed her into the arms of be-
loved husband, Sam, who pre-
ceded her in death.
Annabelle was bom Dec. 11,
1931, in San Antonio, to the
late Robert Tondre and Pearl
Groff Flathouse. She was also
preceded in death by her son,
Douglas Leon Zimmerman and
grandsons, Eric, Jason and
Sam.
Survivors include her daugh-
ters and sons-in-law, Sandra
Tschirhart and John Haegelin
of Rio Medina and Renee and
James Barrett of San Antonio;
son and daughter-in-law,
Garlan H. and Dawn Tschirhart
of Castroville; stepson, Sam
Hencey and wife Clareen;
brother and sister-in-law, Dou-
glas and Carol Gerloff of
Castroville; sister, Bonnie
Tschirhart of Castroville; grand-
children, Beth, Deana, Dean,
Jennifer, Ashley, Samantha, and
Jonette; seven great-grandchil-
dren and many dear friends and
the women of the Haven Can-
cer Support Group.
While fighting a long battle
with cancer she continued to
bless us with her COUrage and
strength as she supported fam-
ily and friends through life’s dif-
ficult challenges. Annabelle is
now free to dance through eter-
nity and be a guardian angel to
those she loved so dearly.
Visitation was Wednesday,
June 15, from 12 noon to 5:30
p.m. at the Tondre-Guinn Fu-
neral Home. Funeral Mass was
held at 7 p.m. at St. Louis Catho-
lic Church in Castroville.
Rosary will be Thursday at 9
a.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral
Home, followed by interment at
Ft. Sam Houston National Cem-
etery.
Arrangements were by Tondre-
Guinn Funeral Home, Castroville.

of Warrenburg, MO, passed
away Sunday, June 5, 2005.

of Hondo, Robert “Bob” Taylor
of Salem IL, Arley Taylor of
Glendors, CA and Edward Tay-

daughters.

June 8, at the First United Meth-
odist Church, Warrensburg,
MO. Burial was in the Missouri
Veteran’s Cemetery in
Higginsville, MO, with full
Military Honors.
