Mrs. Jesusa D. Bermea,
69. a life-time resident of
Medina County, died
April 24, 1977, in San
Antonio Community
Hospital.
She was born December
18, 1907, in Medina
County and made her
home in D'Hanis, where ■
she was a housewife and a
member of the Catholic
church.
Preceded in death by
her parents, Herenio and
Juanita Garcia Davala,
she is survived by her
husband. Yganacio

sons. Gilberto Bermea of

Bermea and Felipe
Bermea. both of D’Hanis,
Ignacio Bermea Jr. of

Veva Lanora Hill. 80. of

Mrs. Hill was bom June
26. 1896, in Floyd, Texas,
and died April 19, 1977, at
Brown's Nursing Center
in Hondo.
She had lived in this
community for ten years
and was a housewife and a
member of the Church of
Christ of Hondo.
She was preceded in
death “by her husband.
Thomas Comer Hill who
dies in 1973, and her
parents, John and Lanora
Hood Williams.
Survivors are three
sons. T. C. Hill Jr. of
Crystal City. Dr.. Floyd
Hill of Hondo and Jerry
W ood Hill of Guatamala:
a sister,, Mrs. Myrtle
Warren of Sherman,
Texas: two brothers,
Frank Williams of Hondo
and Ivy Williams of Sabi-
nal: seven grandchildren
and four great-grandchild-
ren.

Hondo officiated at the
services.
Interment was in the
Sabinal City Cemetery in
Sabinal.

ing a heart attack.
Funeral 'services were
scheduled for Wednesday
afternoon at 2 p.m. at the
First United Methodist
Church in Weatherford.

family requested that
memorials be sent to the
Weatherford Methodist
Church.

A lifelong area resident,
Martel “Curly’’ Sollock
Sr., 56. of Devine, passed
away in a San Antonio
hospital April 22, 1977.
Born March 22, 1921, in
Iola, Texas, Mr. Sollock
drove a truck for over 30
years and was an owner
and operator.
He was a member of
St. Joseph Catholic
Church in Devine, and a
charter and life member of
the Devine V.F.W. Post.
He is survived by his
wife. Mrs. Elizabeth Jung-
man Sollock of Devine;
three sons. Martel Sollock
Jr. of Huntsville, Robert
Sollock and Gary Sollock,
both of Devine: six
daughters, Sandra Rihn
and Mary Ann Sollock,
