It was only 52 Fridays

Angry Orange edged the

here it is time for another
game already.
As if to set the stage,
both teams posted identi-

Owl performance last
week against Cotulla cau-
sed good words again to
emanate* from the coaching
office. Coach Bohls praised
the effort of the Owls all
around in the dominating
21-0 victory over the
Cowboys.
Asked about the sparing
use of the pass (five
completions in as many
attempts for stand-in
starter Bobby Rios), Bohls
answered "It wasn't all
because of the weather at
Cotulla. We just felt as
though we could run on
them, so we did We
mixed in a few passes just
'o keep them hones!
■ Will the- same- team
start this Friday? "Prob-
ably not. We'll probably
start Brian Finger Friday,
and Doug Helvev may be
back at tight end
Ted Mendoza may be
able to play again too, say
the coaches, although he
did not see action against
Cotulla. There were no
further injuries during the
Cotulla g^me.
